Samantha Ruth Prabhu is one of the most sought-after actresses in India. The actress was recently diagnosed with an autoimmune condition called myositis. A week after telling her fans about her diagnosis, the versatile actress has shared pictures from the promotions of her upcoming movie Yashoda.

Dressed in a black one-piece with a green belt, Samantha looks ethereal. She completed her look with minimal make-up, spectacles, and wavy hair. She captioned the pictures, "Like my good friend @raj.nidimoru says, no matter what the day is like and how shitty things are, his motto is to Shower, Shave, Show up !! While talking about her diagonises through her Instagram post, she had written, "Accepting this vulnerability is something that I am still struggling with. The doctors are confident that I will make a complete recovery very soon. I have had good days and bad days…. physically and emotionally…. and even when it feels like I can’t handle one more day of this, somehow that moment passes. I guess it can only mean that I am one more day closer to recovery." On the work front, she will be seen in filmmaker duo Hareesh Narayan and Hari Shankar’s directorial, Yashoda. The movie focuses on the journey of a young woman, who seemingly falls into the trap of a surrogate racket. The movie is a multilingual film and is all set to release on November 11.
